We often get asked “How do you…” “How long…” “How much”…
While we can’t answer every question we get here (as we don’t want to bore you!) here are some common questions and responses that will help explain what we do, how we do it and how we can help you get the most out of your experience with us.

HOW DO WE GET STARTED?

You’ve made a great choice to work with us! Depending on your project, we’ll ask you a few questions to help us understand what we can to do help you and what you, your project and your business are all about.
Depending on what you’re looking for, we often ask for you to send us any ideas you may already have been considering, colours you like or want to use, if you have any existing graphics or branding we’ll need to consider and have you send to us to refer to, and any other information, website links, or example graphics, you think that would help explain what you have in mind. Sometimes even letting us know what you don’t want can help too!
But don’t worry if you don’t have anything specific in mind, often with a few clues about you and your business we can help determine what will work best for you.
For logo design, we generally present 2 – 4 concepts based on the discussion(s) we have with you. We can then refine your chosen concept or mix & match concepts, adjust fonts or colours, until we arrive at the final logo design. Upon completion, we’ll supply you with industry – standard file formats so you’ll have them on hand for any future needs.
For website and blog design, we tend to ask a bunch more questions to help us understand the scope of your site. We try to be as direct as possible and determine what will work best for you. Common things we ask include:
“Do you have a domain and host set up?”
“Do you have an existing site and if so, what do or don’t you like about it?”
“Do you have a logo or branding we’ll need to consider?”
“Do you need any images such as illustration, photos, or graphics and/or supply them to us?”
“Do you have a preferred platform, such as WordPress?”
“Will your site include e – commerce or have any other certain features or functions you’d like?”
Every site we design and build is very different so we tend to approach each one differently based on individual needs.

HOW MUCH FOR…?

Every project is different and has different variables that need to be taken into consideration.
We prefer to quote by project, just send us your project info and contact deets and we can get back to you with a quote and any questions we might have that will help us give you our best price as possible.

HOW LONG…?

The old designer’s adage comes to mind, “Do you want it right or right now?”
We take great pride in working quickly, accurately, and to deadline. If you have a specific timeframe you need your project by, let us know as soon as you can so we can plan our approach.
Please be realistic – we can’t complete a full WordPress website in one day!
Once we know what you’ll need we can generally give you an idea of how long it will take start to finish.
Some factors play in, particularly while working by email and phone, timely responses and quick replies from both sides are crucial to meet scheduled timelines. We make our best efforts to reply same or next day (unless we’re away on holiday in which case we notify our clients with advance warning). Of course life happens but we promise to do our best to get back to you promptly and clearly.
